reACTION TECHNOLOGY

With reACTION technology, B&R is able to reduce response times in industrial automation applications down to one microsecond. This new technology allows time-critical subprocesses to be implemented using standard hardware and eliminates the need for specialized modules - all while greatly reducing the load on both network and controller. The result is an immense increase in performance while cutting costs.



reACTION technology works independently of the CPU and considerably reduces the load placed on it. Programs created in the function block editor are executed directly on I/O modules from the X20 and X67 series, eliminating internal data transmission.

Using standard technology, response time depends on network Performance, number of nodes in the network, network data traffic, CPU performance, and CPU load.
